The Borbón-Lorenzana Room

The Borbón-Lorenzana Room is named in memory of the two cardinals who collected most of the old collections of the Library of Castilla-La Mancha: Francisco Antonio de Lorenzana, creator of the Archbishop Library in 1773, and Luis María de Borbón , who made a significant book donation in 1807.

The 19th century carved wooden bookcase also comes from the Archbishop Library.
Currently, the Borbón-Lorenzana Room, in addition to preserving part of the Library's ancient books, is dedicated to bibliographic and artistic exhibitions.
