The Gallery of Illustrious People
The Gallery of Illustrious People is a collection of portraits of prestigious scholars born in Toledo, or related to the city, painted by Dionisio Santiago de Palomares in the 18th century and collected by Pedro Manuel Hernández, who was a librarian at the Archbishop's Library.
The group includes personalities such as Calderón de la Barca, Alfonso X el Sabio, Juan de Mariana and Jorge Manrique.
